CARNIVAL PANORAMA – WORK IN PROGRESS

Carnival Panorama is under construction at Fincantieri Marghera Shipyard.

Sea trials are scheduled for next July. The ship is protected by Microdata Due Fire Detection System and Martec safety monitoring and control system.

Microdata Due fire detection system for Carnival Panorama is composed by 12 central units and more then 8.000 detectors. The system is connected to Martec SMCS to enhance the safety of passengers and crew members.

 

COSTA VENEZIA IS READY

Monfalcone 26-02-2019

Last days in Monfalcone Shipyard for the new COSTA VENEZIA.

The ship will be delivered to Costa Asia on the 28th of February. She will leave Monfalcone and set sails to Trieste to prepare her first cruise.

Ship’s inaugural cruise is scheduled for March the 3rd: five days in the Adriatic sea touching Bari, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Zara and again to Trieste.

On March the 8th, Costa Venezia will leave Trieste directed to Dubai, Singapore and Yokohama.

Costa Venezia is protected by Microdata Due Fire Detection System and Martec SMCS: 12 central units, two redundant SMCS servers and about 8500 detectors guarantee the safety of crew members and passengers.

 

VIKING JUPITER INAUGURAL CRUISE

The new Viking Jupiter is delivered to Viking Ocean Cruise by Fincantieri S.p.a.

Viking Jupiter is the 6th in a series of ten sister vessels. The ship will sail in the Mediterranean sea until the end of May visiting Rome, Barcelona, Monaco, Venice and Athens.

From June she will move from the Mediterranean to the North and Baltic sea.

Microdata Due and Martec have supplied Fire Detection System and SMCS, composed by 6 central units, 2 SMCS Servers and about 2.500 detectors, in Safe Return to Port configuration.

COSTA VENEZIA SEA TRIALS

Monfalcone – Dicember 27th 2018

Costa Venezia, the first Costa cruise ship designed for chinese market, has performed its first sea trial. The second one will start on January 18th.

The interior design of the ship is dedicated to Venice: the theatre and the atrium are inspired by La Fenice and Piazza San Marco, while restaurants and public spaces remember the typical Venice streets.

The ship can host up to 5100 passengers with her 323mt lenght and 37mt width. It will delivered by Fincantieri to Costa Asia on the first of March.

After a Vernissage Cruise in the mediterranean sea, Costa Venezia will sail to Middle and Far East. From the mid of May will be dedicated to chinese guests with homeport in Shangai.

Costa Venezia is protected by Microdata Due Fire Detection System and Martec Safety Monitoring and Control System. The fire protection is realized by 12 central units  and about 7000 detectors.
