Microdata Due started up the Fire Detection System onboard the new Costa Venezia under construction by Fincantieri Monfalcone shipyard.
Costa Venezia is the first ship by Costa Crociere equipped with the Fire Detection System from Microdata Due.
This confirms the great results of the company in the cruise market: a new Shipowner selected Microdata Due for its new vessels.

Viking Ocean cruises introduced the world’s largest continuous cruise: 245 days around the world visiting 59 countries.
The ship, Viking Sun, will depart from London in August 2019.
Microdata Due is on board with its Fire Detection System.

Microdata Due Fire Detection System is started onboard the new Viking Jupiter.
The ship, which is the sixth vessel of the serie, is under construction by Fincantieri Ancona shipyard.
La Spezia 04-06-2018
Seafuture 2018 (www.seafuture2018.it) will take place in La Spezia navy base from 19th to 23rd of June 2018.
Microdata Due S.r.l. (www.microdatadue.it), Martec S.p.a. (www.martec,it) and Recom S.r.l. (www.recomindustriale.com) will take part to the event with a booth in the exhibitors’ area.
Ancona 04-06-2018
Viking Ocean Cruises will take delivery of the new Viking Orion on June the 7th. The ship, builded by Fincantieri Ancona, is a state of the art ship, designed to offer to the guests luxury and confort. On the occasion of the delivery of the Fire Detection System, a training meeting with the Viking Cruises technicians was organized in order to have feedbacks and suggestions. Viking Cruises confirmed that Microdata Due system is reliable and easy to maintain.
Monfalcone, 04-06-2018
MSC takes delivery of MSC Seaview from Fincantieri. The ship will leave the Monfalcone shipyard this evening to arrive to Genoa on next Thursday. The ceremony of christening will take place in Genoa on June 9th. Godmother of the ship will be Sophia Loren while the gala evening will be conducted by Michelle Hunzicker. As for its sister vessel MSC Seaside, the fire detection system is supplied by Microdata Due: the system is composed by 12 central units and about 9000 devices.
Monfalcone – March 28th 2018
The new Carnival Horizon leaves Monfalcone directed to Barcellona. The ship, builded by Fincantieri (Marghera shipyard) for Carnival Cruise Line, will made its maiden voyage on 2nd April. The Fire detection system is composed by 12 central units and about 7.000 detectors.
Genova – February 2018
Seabourn Ovation completed sea trials. The ship, builded by Fincantieri – Genova shipyard, will be delivered to the owner at the end of April. The installed fire detection system is composed by 5 central units and about 3.000 detectors. The same configuration is installed in the sister vessel Seabourn Encore.
Ancona – March 8th 2018
Viking Orion starts the sea trials. The ship, builded by Fincatieri Ancona shipyard, is the 5th in a series of 10 identical vessels. The sister ships are named Viking Star (2015), Viking Sea (2016), Viking Sky (2017) and Viking Sun (2017). All ships are protected by a Microdata Due fire detection system.
Monfalcone – November 29th 2017
MSC takes delivery of MSC Seaside from Fincantieri. The ship is the largest cruise ship ever built in Italy. Microdata Due supplied the Fire Detection System composed by 12 central units and about 9000 detectors and I/O modules. Valves monitoring and control is fully integrated by Fire Detection System.
